#341 – Spotlight On: Star Trek V – The Final Frontier

Prepare the campfire, roast the marshmallows (aka marsh-melons), and bust out your sexy fans, because we have finally arrived at The Final Frontier. Known for decades as “the worst Star Trek movie ever”, Star Trek V answers the age old question of what a Shatner-directed Trek film would look like – Spoiler: not great. However, with a Trek newbie on board in the form of Nick Goathoof, with no bias or preconceived notions on Shatner’s directing prowess, could the Final Frontier’s reputation finally see a positive turn?

Spoiler: Not a marsh-melon’s chance in hell.

I’m your host and Captain, David Snider, and joining me as we familiarize ourselves with the customs of “camping out” are fellow crewmembers Lt. Commander Chad Griner and Ensign Nick Goathoof.

Topics of discussion in this episode include the genius of packing erotic fans on a hostage rescue mission; we discover the baffling origin behind the “marsh-melon”; and finally, a discussion on the Paradise City Cat Lady takes a disturbing turn into the mad and the macabre.
