#339 – Spotlight On: Star Trek III – The Search for Spock

Despite several warnings telling us that it’s forbidden, the EoJ Trek-Cast has nevertheless returned to the Genesis Planet to discuss the third entry in the Star Trek film franchise, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. Given Trek newbie Nick Goathoof’s controversial stance on The Wrath of Khan, it seemed highly unlikely that the follow up would turn the Hoof around on this venerable series. However, is it possible that The Search for Spock managed to tinker with Nick’s katra and show him the greatness of the Final Frontier?

I’m your host and Captain, David Snider, and joining me as we attempt to swap katras are fellow crewmates Lt. Commander Chad Griner and Ensign Nick Goathoof.

Topics of discussion in this episode include us thumbing our nose at Vulcan mysticism; Nick wages war on the Federation and joins the Klingon Empire; and finally, we plot the ultimate death match between Khan Noonien Singh and Commander Kruge.
